It is easy to define a particular product with a country in simplistic ways: like Swiss cheese with Switzerland, Scotch whisky with Scotland and pure olive oil with Spain, for example. But in today’s world, countries are producing a wide array of products and services that have unique cultural and social characteristics.Presenting the national story or message in a cohesive manner is a challenging task. Voice of America's year-long series on the topic “Between Trade Agreements and Tariffs: The American Farmer,” has won first place in the 85th annual National Headliner Awards in the category "TV Business/Consumer Reporting."
The series written, produced and edited by VOA’s Midwest correspondent, Kane Farabaugh, detail the impact of trade disputes and tariffs on the U.S. agricultural industry, and U.S. farmers in particular.

In December 2018, February and April 2019 two more Latvian movies were broadcasted on Egypt’s national TV channel Channel Two. On 27 and 30 December last year the movie The Chimney (by Laila Pakalniņa) and on 4 February and 8 April this year the movie Dangerous Summer (by Aivars Grauba and Andrejs Ēķis) were aired on the mentioned TV channel. According to the Egyptian National Media Authority’s data the movie The Chimney was viewed by approximately 25 million and the movie Dangerous Summer was viewed by approximately 30 million viewers. Channel Two is also aired on satellite TV in other Middle East and North Africa’s countries.

BEIJING, April 19 (Xinhua) -- The book, Sharing the Story of China, has been published by the Commercial Press to show readers how to introduce China to the world.
The book, compiled by the Chinese People's Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries (CPAFFC), combines case studies with expert's comments to summarize the experience and methods of introducing China to the world.
It also proposes new ideas to improve public diplomacy [JB emphasis] in the new era.
A good story is "Esperanto," which transcends regional, linguistic, racial and cultural barriers to help more foreigners better understand China, said Li Xiaolin, president of the CPAFFC.
The CPAFFC started the research program on "telling the world the Chinese story" last January, and selected 33 representative cases that best exemplify the story-telling skills.
